NARMADA — To promote safer and fairer job opportunities for Indonesian migrant workers, the Center for Village Innovation (CVI), in collaboration with the Department of International Relations at the University of Mataram, hosted a community information session on the Zero-Cost Recruitment Policy.
The event took place on September 17, 2025, in Narmada, focusing on recruitment practices within the palm oil industry.

The session aimed to help local communities, prospective workers, and local leaders understand the Zero-Cost Policy—a regulation designed to ensure that job seekers do not pay illegal recruitment fees or fall into heavy debt to secure work overseas.
By partnering with the Faculty of Law, Social Sciences, and Political Science at the University of Mataram, CVI continues to bridge academic expertise with direct community engagement.
Through these practical outreach efforts, CVI and its partners remain dedicated to creating a transparent migration process that protects worker dignity and supports local families.
