Centre for Village Innovation (CVI) is a purpose-driven social enterprise dedicated to transforming the overseas workers’ recruitment landscape by championing fair recruitment principles and eradicating slavery-related practices. Established with a mission to promote transparency, equity, and ethical standards, we work to ensure that the rights and dignity of workers are safeguarded throughout the recruitment process.
By focusing heavily on empirical, grassroots field monitoring—particularly within the Indonesian-Malaysian plantation sector—we empower vulnerable workers through education on their legal rights and the ‘Employer’s Pay Principle.’ Through our robust monitoring frameworks, worker support platforms, and multi-stakeholder partnerships, we ensure that the rights, equity, and dignity of every worker are fiercely safeguarded throughout their migration journey.
